Adolescents 2 Adult is a nonprofit that is committed to providing effective mentorship and guidance to young people worldwide. Having experienced the loss of his brother through a senseless act of violence, our founder Charles Caldwell spends his energy ensuring that no one else experiences his loss.
About Charles Caldwell
Our founder has an unquenchable desire to help kids become better adults for the future. He is proud to offer mentoring services that encompass a broad spectrum of areas to ensure that his students learn valuable life skills.
A Man of Faith
Charles has absorbed his vision and values from his pastor, Dr. Michael Evans Sr., and his family. He established our organization when he had a vision from God to become an inspiration for others. He truly believes that God has brought him through many trials and tribulations in life to give him the experience and will to help others in the future.
Personal Life and Family
As a happily married man, Charles is inspired by his family to keep up his fight to guide young people. His wife, Robbie, is a federal employee currently working for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth.
Their daughter, Charae, graduated from Prairie View A&M University in 2014 and is currently an employee with CHASE Corporate office. She needs six credits to finish her Master's in Health and Administration at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Professional Experience
His career is supported by a solid, successful track record with his MBA with the University of Phoenix. He is also a former President of Brotherhood Ministry at Bethlehem Baptist Church and is still an active community leader and participant. Additionally, Charles is currently a teacher and member of the Fort Worth City-Wide Brotherhood Union where they give out four scholarships a year towards education.
Military Service
As a retired Air Force Master Sergeant of more than 25 years, he utilizes his experience in the military to give adolescents strong guidance. Before his retirement, he served as a superintendent of the 624th Air Defense Liaison Element in the Yokota Air Base in Japan. He is a highly decorated airman, having received the Meritorious Service Medal and five Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom medals.
Charitable Works
Even though “the Big C” wears many hats, his ultimate goal is the same: to entertain, inform, and persuade all adolescents to become successful adults! Charles is also an avid volunteer at Mansfield Phoenix Academy and the President of Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students). He is also the creator of MAN UP University at Mansfield ISD Phoenix Academy and Behavior Intervention Center.
He also works with famous celebrities to further his cause. These include basketball coaching with NBA Hall of Famer 2020 Sidney Moncrief and motivational speaking events with Evander “the Real Deal” Holyfield.
Current Activities
As of now, Charles is involved with President Austin’s “Show Love” tour in Arlington from Sept. 28-29, where at least 1,000 homeless people will be fed. If you want to hear Charles speaking on various topics every week, follow him on TNT Tuesday Night Talk at 7 PM.
